Snaile Successfully Completes 3rd Party Postal RFID Tag-to-Cloud Testing
A leading Postal Quality of Service (QoS) survey company has successfully tested in two countries Snaile’s Postal passive RFID tag-to-Cloud device used to monitor the Universal Service Obligation (USO). Snaile’s device is designed to vastly reduce overall cost of current active tag devices and greatly improve accuracy of data. Snaile’s device is now available for commercial use and can be used in various first and last mile applications.

A North American Postal Operator to Test Snaile’s First Mile IoT Devices and Last Mile IoT Devices in Conventional Parcel Locker Applications
A North American Postal Operator will test Snaile’s first mile devices in their street letter boxes and upgrade some of their conventional “dumb” parcel lockers to gain visibility into the available inventory of these lockers to accept new parcels as well as the aging inventory of parcels not picked up by customers in an evaluation of increasing parcel throughput of their entire network.

Snaile last mile consumer mail notification devices will be sized to fit Swiss letterboxes for the purposes of being offered to Swiss mail users through Switzerland’s 1450 Post Offices. Its anticipated that the first limited quantity units will be available by the end of Q1 2017.
